Patients with types I and II diabetes should watch for hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) when they begin taking the TreolifeVM and TreolifeEFA formulas due to an anticipated drop in their blood glucose levels (as a result of anticipated increase in insulin sensitivity or decrease in insulin resistance). Patients using these formulas should consult their physician to ensure insulin dosages or oral hypoglycemic medications are appropriately adjusted (decreased), especially if combined with a decrease in their carbohydrate consumption and/or an increase in their activity levels.
