The original VM formula was researched & developed by Dr. Habib back in 1999. A second formula (EFA) was formulated by Dr. Habib to complement and enhance the effects of the VM formula, and both were designated as the Glu-Pro System. Two patents so far have been applied for and granted. The first is US Patent #7,332,181 issued on February 19, 2008, the second is US Patent # 7,875, 291 issued on January 25, 2011. Other patents are still pending.
Treolife, L.L.C. was established by Dr. Habib in January 2012 to manufacture, market, & sell the new and improved VM and EFAs formulas under the new name of Treolife VM and Treolife EFA, both making the Treolife System.
The patented Treolife System is comprised of two formulas: Treolife VM contains 12 vitamins and 9 minerals involved with
glucose metabolism and Treolife EFA contains a unique blend of 5 EFA oils combined with vitamin E and co-enzyme Q10.
Together, they deliver many of the nutrients and antioxidants that enhance the body’s ability to function properly and combat disorders that can lead to diabetes and its complications.*
